BG03 (Elymus): This library was made of RNA from two Elymus species: Snake River wheatgrass (Elymus wawawaiensis) and thickspike wheatgrass (Elymus lanceolatus). Both grasses are native to the western U.S., and are allotetraploids. Snake River wheatgrass has a caespitose growth habit while thickspike has a rhizomatous growth habit. Subterranean tiller (for Snake River) or tiller/rhizome (for thickspike) meristems were collect, tagged by tissue, and used for the EST library. For more information contact < sbushman@cc.usu.edu >.
